FAQ:
This programme has been developed to allow you to take it in your own time, with no stringent timelines. There’s nothing stopping you blitzing through the course in a single week, or on the flip-side taking a whole year to complete it whilst refining your startup alongside.
However, as we recommend that you actually build your startup alongside this course in a step-by-step approach, and complete all the practical exercises, we estimate that it will take founders around 6 – 8 weeks to complete.
It can take the average founder around 6-12 months to launch a business after coming up with an idea, but with our help you can drastically reduce that, using our timesaving hacks, guidance and resources.
To build and launch your startup, the total cost depends on too many factors to give a precise estimation. For the basic company administration documents, and resources required to build your first concept ready to test, this can be as little as £100 - £500.
To hire external help (e.g. freelancers or agencies for product building and marketing); pay for valuable software or tools to get your business off the ground; pay for samples or initial supplies for your product; and pay for basic overheads, this could be in the region of £1,000 - £10,000.
It really does depend on your type of startup, resources required, and your motivations and timeframe for getting it built. To build a startup app or digital software solution, this could cost 10’s of £1000s, for example.
Our programme price is just £297, and we recommend following us to keep updated about regular discounts that we offer!
This programme has been carefully crafted over 12 months by: individuals, startups and organisations who have come from various sides of the start-up world. This includes: investors, bankers and finance providers, mentors, and advisors, and of course, start-up founders and entrepreneurs themselves.
We have spent 100’s of hours interviewing key players in the startup word, mainly founders and entrepreneurs, who have been there and done it themselves. From all these participants, you’ll learn real-life case studies (the good and the bad) and have genuine insight into their wisdom throughout the programme.
This programme is designed to get you to the point where you and your startup are investable, and you understand what type of investment you may need and where to source it. We’ll help you with everything from how to find investors or external finance, what and how to pitch, and how much you will need.
You’ll be left with a list of investors that you can filter to your specific startup and funding requirements and make the appropriate outreach to them.
As this programmes is sector- and stage-agnostic (i.e. open to founders and startups at all stages and in all industries), we are not able to offer investment pitches as part of the accelerator. However, you can speak with us once you’ve completed the programme for the option of having your startup assessed by us, and then connected with investors directly if you’re ready.
We don’t offer investment as part of this programme, but we’ll make sure you’re fully equipped and ready to take on investment from investors or other finance providers.
We’ll also signpost you to investors and guide you in how to approach them, pitch to them and maximise your chances of securing funding.
Of course not! Unlike other incubators/accelerators who often have very restrictive criteria, our programme is open to all! The accelerator has been designed to apply to all business types, models, locations & sectors.
To begin this accelerator, we do recommend that you at least have an idea as to what startup you'd like to build. However, while most other accelerators require you to have developed your startup idea already or even (in some cases) have launched it and are generating revenue, we offer guidance right from the start in the idea validation stage.
Prior knowledge of entrepreneurship, or your intended product, service or industry is certainly a plus, but not a requirement. All that we would advise is that you have at least a basic understanding of business and finance, a willingness to learn and a strong motivation and commitment to spend time on your startup each week. Everything else we can teach you, step-by-step.
This accelerator course is primarily designed for:
- Aspiring entrepreneurs & early-stage startup founders
- Small business owners looking for investment or new strategies to grow
- Side hustlers & professionals transitioning into entrepreneurship
- Those fed-up with working for other people, and have a desire to set up a business of their own
- Hobbyists looking to take their skills & passion into a proper business
- Business owners looking for new ways to enable their business to succeed
Ultimately this accelerator is for the dreamers, shakers, and doers. It’s for those who either have a burning desire to build something of their own, or a business idea that they want to bring to life, and need some guidance navigating the world of entrepreneurship and startups, which can seem overwhelming at times.
We’ve got a variety of content for you, as we believe learning is done through a combination of reading, watching, listening, and doing. We have made our accelerator as interactive as possible, which includes:
- Intro Page – which sets out the module contents, goals, practical exercises, and resources
- The Pop-Out Guides & Visuals/Diagrams – to help explain more complex topics
- Main Reading Material – for full explanations and deep dives into topics
